The Coweta County Genealogical and Historical Research Library, is located at the corner of West Broad Street and Main Street in Grantville, Georgia. It is home to a large inventory of historical and genealogical books and publications. Our library contains books and publications from most if not all of the fifty states. We have many surname books, family history compilations, family folders, historical newspapers, military books and index publications, and miscellaneous historical and reference books, magazines and pamphlets.

The following items are not allowed inside our library:

• book bags
• portfolios
• briefcases
• computer cases
• any other type of storage container

Please come prepared to leave these items in your vehicle. We do not have storage lockers or space for them.

Our hours of operation are:

10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
1st and 3rd Saturdays monthly.
Evenings by appointment

With the continued support of our volunteers the library will continue these hours. The library is always in need of volunteers for any days of operation.
